Beyond Sales Careers
Finding the right people for your organization is the greatest HR challenge in the UAE today based on a survey we did in June 2007 (75% of respondents cited this as their biggest issue). The relative scarcity of quality candidates, the rapid growth of business in the region and the limitations of many recruitment companies are all cited as reasons for this situation.
Our move into solving specific talent acquisition challenges came about when one of our UAE-based clients, frustrated at their inability to find a recruitment partner to help them identify suitable candidates for their enhanced Sales organization (which we had designed!), turned to us in desperation. Within a few weeks we had successfully placed 7 new people in the organization and helped them to create a new channel-based structure for the Sales force.
What is different about Pearson Consulting?
For a start we are highly focused – we recruit candidates for only Sales and Trade Marketing positions. Our aim is to provide our clients with no more than 2 candidates for each vacancy rather than a pile of CVs for the client themselves to sift through. The hands-on functional experience of our team allows us to probe more deeply into a candidate’s skills and cultural fit avoiding the client wasting time seeing unsuitable people.
